When does my insurance become effective?
An application, estimate, accepted quote or payment alone does not bind cover. Authorised underwriting must confirm binding, and the effective period and conditions are set out in the issued policy.
What information do I need to apply?
Start with your company, the cover you need, vessel or cargo details, the proposed voyage or trading area, and claims history. Your document checklist changes with the product.
Can I request my own coverage limit?
Yes. Enter a custom required coverage amount and, optionally, your target premium budget. Availability and final terms depend on underwriting and insurance capacity.
Can you consider a Strait of Hormuz transit?
