Clear answers before you apply.
Learn about applications, documents, quotes, payment and certificate verification.
When does my insurance become effective?
An application, estimate, accepted quote or payment alone does not bind cover. Authorised underwriting must confirm binding, and the effective period and conditions are set out in the issued policy.
What information do I need to apply?
Start with your company, the cover you need, vessel or cargo details, the proposed voyage or trading area, and claims history. Your document checklist changes with the product.
Can I request my own coverage limit?
Yes. Enter a custom required coverage amount and, optionally, your target premium budget. Availability and final terms depend on underwriting and insurance capacity.
Can you consider a Strait of Hormuz transit?
Submit vessel particulars, the proposed route and transit dates for specialist review. Marine war-risk conditions can change quickly; cover remains subject to underwriting, capacity and applicable law.
Are documents required for the first Hormuz enquiry?
No. Initial Hormuz enquiries can be submitted without supporting uploads. The underwriting team may request relevant documents during review.
Do you consider Russia- or Iran-linked enquiries?
International and higher-risk enquiries are considered case by case. Sanctions-sensitive associations require enhanced compliance review and senior approval before a quote can be issued.
How do bank-transfer payments work?
After quote acceptance and an approved payment request, the relevant client can see bank instructions inside the secure portal. Finance verifies received funds before underwriting can confirm binding.
How can I check a certificate?
Use the QR code or secure verification link printed on the certificate. The verification page shows the certificate record and status, without private documents or payment information.
