Embed a Marine Insurance Calculator
Give maritime visitors a useful starting point: an indicative vessel or cargo insurance estimate, followed by a direct route into the MarineEnergyCover application.
A hosted calculator on your approved website
The iframe offers fixed-rate vessel and cargo products plus entered-rate marine war risk. It uses the same server-side pricing engine as the main calculator. For fleet, Loss of Hire or individually quoted liabilities, use the full calculator or the approved API.
Iframe
Replace the example code after approval. Each exact HTTPS origin is allowlisted; embedding from other domains is blocked.
<iframe src="https://marineenergycover.com/partner-calculator?partner=YOUR_PARTNER_CODE" title="Marine insurance premium estimate" width="100%" height="1000" loading="lazy" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" style="border:0;max-width:960px"></iframe>
JavaScript widget
Add this script where the tool should appear. It inserts one iframe, contains no tracking pixels and does not inject SEO links.
<script src="https://marineenergycover.com/assets/partner-widget.js" data-partner="YOUR_PARTNER_CODE" defer></script>
What the visitor sees
The visitor selects a product, insured value, currency, route and coverage period. They receive the insured value, rate, premium breakdown and selected period. “Continue with MarineEnergyCover” opens the first-party application, carrying the estimate and partner attribution.
Before going live
- Supply the exact production origin and any separate approved staging origin.
- Use a meaningful iframe title and allow enough height for mobile results.
- Keep the indicative-pricing explanation visible next to the tool.
- Test a mobile visitor’s estimate-to-application journey.
- Disclose the external calculator in your own privacy information as appropriate.
The embed does not depend on third-party login cookies. Application registration, documents and payment remain on MarineEnergyCover’s own website.
An estimate is the start of a conversation
Indicative premium estimate only. Final premium and coverage are subject to underwriting approval, vessel specifications, route, claims history, policy limits, deductibles, capacity availability and final policy terms.
The calculator does not bind insurance, accept premiums or issue certificates. Customers complete their application on MarineEnergyCover. Payment and policy issuance follow the platform’s separate verification and authorization checks.
